How to Install ccal software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

ccal software package provides Colorised calendar utility, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ccal

ccal is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ccal package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ccal *

You will get with ccal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
